My wife and I adopted Lex through Jay and Amee’s “stay and train” program, and we were blown away watching how well they work with their dogs. Their guest house was fantastic — clean, comfortable, and a wonderful place to stay while getting to know Lex. Before bringing him home, we spent two days with Jay and Amee learning how to bond with him and getting guidance on how to continue his training at home. They sent us off with a generous bag of goodies and a personalized training plan tailored to the goals we had discussed with them.

I can't say enough great things about Jay! He's a friend of mine who also happens to be an incredible dog trainer, and honestly he's been a lifesaver for me and my dog. I've called him a several times when I was at my wit's end — once because my dog just wasn't listening to my commands no matter what I tried, and another time because he wouldn't stop jumping on me every time I walked through the door. Both times, Jay actually listened to what was going on, gave me real suggestions I could use right away, and even sent me videos so I could see exactly what to do. That part really helped — it wasn't just advice, it was something I could watch and follow along with. What makes him different is that he doesn't just throw generic tips at you. He actually takes the time to help both you and your dog figure it out together. If you need a trainer who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in you and your pup, look no further. Highly recommend!

Jay & Amee are amazing trainers! We cannot be more thankful for them and their expertise with training our German Shepherd, Axel. Axel was experiencing fear reactivity, so we reached out for training, not sure what to expect. Axel did not take well to strangers so I was unsure if they would even be able to make a breakthrough with him. Well, our expectations were exceeded!! Axel came back home a completely different dog. He is much more relaxed & has a lot more confidence in himself. He looks to me for reassurance in uncomfortable situations now, he learned basic training commands that make everyday life much easier. Overall, this experience has made all of our lives so much better! Axel was not the only one that learned some new techniques, I also learned how to advocate for him, how to read his body language & to take things slowly with him. I truly do not know where we would be without Jay & Amee's help. We are beyond excited for Axel's growth & look forward to his continued training at home. Jay & Amee, THANK YOU!!!!
