FirstBarkMike came on a recommendation of a co-worker. A German Shepherd that I pet sit was constantly barking inside & fence fighting outside. ** this is a 10 star review ** Mike has to be the BEST dog trainer EVER. My boyfriend and I rescued a 6-7 month old deaf border collie/brown lab mix puppy from Philly Rescue Angels… never having a deaf puppy before, we had no clue how to train or communicate with him….. Mike came to our house for the training sessions. Very personal, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. He was teaching us how to communicate with Noah using our hands. We taught us how to hand target, lay down, sit, and paw. After our first training session with Mike, Noah was a pro at all these things Mike taught us in the first training session… our second session he was teaching us stay, walking on a leash, and how to get his attention while walking with him on leash….. we’re still working on stay and house training…. But Noah seems to be improving with both…. I can’t thank Mike enough for everything he’s done for us in the first two training sessions….always allowing us to text or call him with any questions or tips we need help with…. I highly recommend mike to anyone who needs help with training their dogs… We can’t wait to work with Mike in the future!

Mike is a wonderful and experienced dog trainer and a pleasure to work with. I recently welcomed a second dog to my family and he helped give me tips on how to make sure the dogs get along and acclimated. I feel much more comfortable walking both my dogs together and knowing they're well-behaved and easy to manage. If you need help understanding your dog or experiencing problem behaviors Mike is your guy! I highly recommend him.
Working with Mike has been an absolute pleasure! He has helped us socialize our pandemic puppy. We recently got another puppy as well and he was instrumental in helping us social both dogs together to create a positive environment for not only us but for our dogs. Mike is absolutely wonderful to work with, we highly recommend him and his services.
