Can't recommend All Canines enough! We worked with a trainer from a different company when we first got our puppy and had a mixed experience with his approach. Mike and the team at All Canines couldn't have been more different. From day one it was a positive experience, and our pup has progressed by leaps and bounds after just a few months of work. Our dog Frankie has always been an anxious guy and it only got worse in the pandemic. Lockdown in Brooklyn and then a move to Philadelphia, got him really anxious around strangers and very territorial around the house and yard. Mike's style of positive reinforcement has helped him immensely--we've been able to have people in our apartment and introduce him to them without fear of a bite or other calamity. I'm not going to lie...its been a lot of work outside of the sessions themselves, but Mike gives you the tools to communicate effectively with your dog in a way that I didn't realize was going to be possible. Frankie doesn't react on walks the way he used to, has now had several positive interactions in the house and yard with strangers, and we can't wait to see how he progresses even more in the coming months and years ahead thanks to the lessons we've learned from All Canines!

I cannot even begin to say enough good things about this company. We have an absolutely beyond tough husky puppy (whom we love) that we needed help with. I found this company through another website and really liked the idea of supporting a U.S. Veteran. Mike, Jennifer, and Emily are incredible. They are quick to respond, they do not make you feel pressured in any way, are there to help with any questions at all times of the day, and are super professional. From the moment we met them, we knew that they knew what they were doing. They helped us in so many ways. Jennifer researched huskies in particular and helped us with problems specific to this breed. She never gave up and would stay at training sessions longer than contracted when she witnessed certain behaviors so that she could work with our puppy in that moment and see what worked best to correct the problems. Even though our dog has finished her sessions, we still hear from them to see how things are progressing. You will never be disappointed with this company. I truly feel that they are a part of our family.

All Canines made a dream of ours become a reality. The process of getting a puppy and training him was intimidating. Knowing we could rely on such knowledgeable and trustworthy people for the 4-week board and train program gave us the confidence we needed, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our puppy Smoky came back to us potty trained at 11 weeks! We loved the fact that our program came with 4 follow up lessons included to reinforce the principles learned at the board and train and to continue to progress with learning new things. A puppy was out of reach for us with our busy work schedules, but All Canines came through and had our backs. Mike and Emily are the best. Smoky looks forward to a lifelong relationship with them as we learn new things but more importantly have so much fun.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with Mike & Emily. Our new rescue Olive was a puppy mill breeding mom who spent her first 6 years of life in a crate. We just finished 3 sessions with Mike where he’s been helping us better understand Olive’s behavior, building truest, giving us the tools we need to help her gain confidence and learn what it means to be a loved, happy dog! Mike’s approach is my favorite part. He really cares about the well-being of the dog and with Olive’s past and her shy nature that insight was really the most helpful. Mike and Emily are also super responsive and their portal for messaging, scheduling and reminders was great! HIGHLY recommend them!
