My wife and I rescued a puppy at the five month mark. We were so lost on the proper way to train a dog, especially one that has a rough start to life. It is so refreshing to have found this place. I love that the staff is friendly, you cannot beat the price anywhere else for what you are learning and they are a positive training group. Instead of training with fear so no shock collars, no chokers. Actually training your dog to listen to you and I feel like that builds such a strong bond with your pet. My wife and I have raved about this place with so many people and out of both of our mouths we say that they are training us lol you definitely get what you put into it. It is important to follow the homework and stay consistent. We are on our second round of training with our puppy, Jasper. Even he gets so excited to go to class! It is so funny watching him light up when he sees the instructor Bobbie lol We are so grateful to have found this place. It seems like they offer a lot of different courses, and we are really excited to continue growing with Jasper at ABTC!
Perhaps, one day, Akron All-Breed Club will become a friendly place. Patience, understanding, or hospitality are not the traits of this non-profit organization. So sad 😔
I recently completed the Puppy II class and loved it! My pup and I learned so much from our trainer, Ann. She sent us homework each week to reinforce what we learned in class. Highly recommend for anyone with a dog of any age and temperament!
