FirstBarkMy standard poodle and I took a NeoDog 2 class at ABRT. We learned a lot in class and the homework assignments really helped to proof the behaviors. We have taken many classes here and highly recommend ABRT for your training needs.

About All Breed Rescue & Training
All Breed Rescue & Training is a non-profit rescue and animal training facility in Colorado Springs. We have served the Southern Colorado community for over two decades, rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for at-risk dogs across the state, as well as providing training and behavior modification services to all levels of dog owners. Note! All of our dogs are in foster homes, not at the facility! Meet them on our website - click "Adopt"! Our training program is relationship based and promotes positive reinforcement, utilizing the most scientifically-sound methods available. With classes ranging from Puppy Socialization through competition level nosework, agility, barnhunt, rally, and conformation, we have a class for you!

I have a dog that's possessive and aggressive towards other dogs and people but me, other shelters aren't able to take him in, but I wonder if you have any rehabilitation programs to help or perhaps to find a home where he would be a single dog.

Do you offer any aggressive dog rehabilitation training services? Are there fees if so, and if not would there be any possibility of re homing a dog that doesn't play well with children or other dogs?
My Bo was starting to show some aggressive behaviors. He was elderly. They were able to give some basic changes to keep him and others safe.

I know of a man who is moving over seas and has 2 beautiful huskys that he is trying to rehome, would they be a good breed to train 4 service dogs and who can train them if they were donated for veterans r disabled?
Hi Peggy, each dog is an individual and depending on their personality, ability to perform tasks, trainability etc... can help decide if they are a good candidate. They would need to be evaluated. Their staff are all amazing! The in-person classes provide immediate, personalized feedback for humans and dogs that can't be duplicated by watching a You Tube video or a reading a book or website. Plus, ABRT saves local dogs that have no other options. We are also ABRT adopters, and the ABRT team provides a level of post-adoption support that is unrivaled. All Breed Rescue is the BEST place to adopt and train your dog.
We have taken several classes with ABRT. The trainers are all excellent. They use positive reinforcement and as you go through different classes that build upon each other, you learn additional skills and ways to teach your dogs new things beyond just luring to get desired behaviors.
They truly love each and every dog. Each foster home is researched and will not be chosen unless it's a good fit!
I trained my old dog 11 years ago here and she turned it so amazing I brought my new puppy here. Lauren is still amazing at training puppies and Kara has been awesome as well! Highly recommended!
