All Breed Dog Training

We enrolled our Maltese, Spragg, in All Breed Dog Training's 3-week board and train program, and the results have been incredible! Matt worked wonders with Spragg, helping him become calm in his crate, polite on the leash, and consistent with commands like come, sit, down, stay, and place. One of the biggest challenges we faced was Spragg's barking and jumping up when visitors came to our home, and Matt provided the guidance we needed to correct this behavior. We're beyond thrilled with the progress Spragg has made and highly recommend Matt and the team at All Breed Dog Training!

The hardest part of this review is narrowing down the top things to say about my experience with Matt and All Breed Dog Training. Simply put, Matt offers the best training services and overall customer experience you could ask for. His professionalism, communication, and depth of knowledge are unparalleled. Matt consistently goes above and beyond to address any dog behavior concerns, and his Board and Train program has been transformative for our puppy. In the 3 weeks he spent with her, she came away with Place, Stay, Sit, Down, Come, soft leash walking, kitchen manors, etc. I highly recommend Matt to anyone dealing with dog behavior issues or new puppy owners looking to get ahead. He tailors the training to each dog’s needs, and it shows. We’ve been so impressed that we’re already planning additional one-off training sessions for both dogs. Truthfully, I can’t recommend Matt enough.

Leo, our Yorkie mix was having reactivity issues with other dogs and humans. We couldn’t take him on a walk without him barking and lunging at others. It was very embarrassing as pet owners so we stopped going on walks with Leo. I started to research dog trainers after I started to feel guilty that we were not taking him for his daily walks. We landed on Matt’s instagram page and thought we would give it a try. Matt was wonderful with Leo. He taught and helped us understand Leo’s reactive behavior. He explained how to manage the leash better. Matt taught us what to look for and how to correct that behavior during walks. We are so grateful to have met Matt. After the 2nd session, Leo has been getting better on walks. We are more confident in our walks now. We are excited to see all that he is going to teach us and Leo. If you are looking for a trainer, Matt is your guy!

Matt was able to make significant progress with my parents’ dog: a Coton de Tulear who is about three. Loki was brought into my parents’ house during Covid, and, as a result, he was not properly socialized as a puppy and young dog. Unfortunately, he developed various bad habits, including leash reactivity, dog and novel-person fear (eg various instances of reactivity and mild aggression), and continuous barking and growling, even in the face of people he was recently introduced to. Matt and his team were able to help Loki make significant improvements in the week or so that he trained him, and I observed a notable improvement in his walking (no aggression or leash pulling with just a few modifications), and less fear-based reactivity when confronted with new people or other dogs. My parents continue to work with Loki (taking Matt’s advice into account), and Matt has been great about answering follow-up questions and providing additional guidance after the initial behavioral training period. I’d highly recommend All Breed Dog Training if your dog is having behavioral issues, and I believe Matt genuinely cares about improving the behavior of the dogs he works with.
