All Around K9 Training

All Around K9 Training was truly a blessing and definitely the right choice. We have a German Shepard/Belgium Malanois mix that we adopted from a shelter at 3 years old and she was extremely reactive at home and in public. We couldn't take her out on walks anymore because any person or animal she saw, she would lunge at and wouldn't stop. Every knock or phone noise would set her off, and we didn't know what to do anymore. We took her here after seeing all the reviews and couldn't be happier. We met with her trainer, Clay, four times throughout the three week course to learn how they're training her and how to continue it at home. There were no wrong questions, and he made sure we felt confident in ourselves (my husband and I) that we're doing the right things. She's done a complete 180 in terms of listening and being able to calm down, knows basic commands, and is still just as playful and loving as before. We will definitely come back if we ever get another dog that needs training and recommend them to anyone who is having a similar experience that we were before bringing her here. After conducting a significant amount of research, and speaking with folks who have used the services of All Around K9 Training, we decided to send our five month chocolate lab for the two week training program. It was clear from the beginning after first meeting our trainer Jason, that their processes and theories for training were exactly what we were looking for. We dropped our little girl off, and were out of the country for two weeks. Throughout that two weeks, we received numerous updates and photos of our little girl and how she was progressing through the program. The communication was very clear, and it was also apparent there was no hidden agenda on the training protocol, the training program, or what was expected of our pup. Upon our return, we went to the facility. and completed our hands-on training with Jason and our puppy. Jason insured that we were clear on the process he used and how to continue the program with our puppy when she got home. It was unbelievably simple, clear, and easy for us to bring our pup home and continue working with her, which made the transition for her very simple. We will surely continue with future training, to make sure that we have the best relationship with our puppy as she grows into adulthood. I’m very comfortable taking her anywhere, allowing people to approach her, and knowing that I have no fear of her acting out or being out of control in a public setting. I give 100% support to anybody who needs training for their dogs to definitely utilize All Around K9 Training.

We have loved working with Gary and Clay at All Around K9 Training. We have worked with them for our two dogs, Bo and Murphy. We were skeptical in the beginning after some bad experiences with prior trainers but immediately felt the difference with All Around K9 Training. Our dog Bo is a complicated case, with significant anxiety/fear and "aggression" or reactivity, especially in the home. No other trainers have even been able to handle Bo or gain his trust...or even try to be honest. But literally on day 1, Gary got to work with handling Bo himself, safely and fairly. After a several week long board and stay it was clear he had gained Bo's trust and was able to work with him on his confidence and comfort in different environments and with different people. Bo still continues to be protective at the house and Gary has continued to work with us. But he made significant improvements with his fear and environmental stability and Gary taught us so much about how to work with Bo ourselves and keep him safe. Murphy was our pup with some reactivity with other dogs but overall just needed some good obedience work. He did two weeks with Clay and came back a different dog. Again, it was clear that Clay has spent time getting to know Murphy and earning his trust. And Murphy is now eager to please and a great listener.
