When should I start crate training my puppy?
As with any training, starting early is always better. Puppyhood is a critical time for socialization and obedience training; therefore, crate training your puppy should begin as soon as possible. Crate conditioning begins by giving your pup small amounts of his own food in the crate (for example, kibble or some water) several times per day. As he becomes more comfortable with being inside the crate, you can gradually increase the amount of time he spends there each day.
Once your puppy is completely conditioned to spending time in the crate, you can start using it as a safe place when you're not home. This way, if anything happens and he needs to be picked up quickly (e.g., during an emergency evacuation), he will be familiar with going into the Crate instead of traveling unrestrained through unfamiliar surroundings or getting lost indoors.

Our classes are relatively small, max 15 dog-owner pairs per class. We keep it that way so that everyone gets the attention they need. Classes start every 5 weeks, so you're able to repeat a level if you want to or advance.

We then followed up with taking her to the intermediate training class and Jenni & Sandy are just so amazing. Can't say enough about them. The facility is so nice and indoors which made it comfortable.
We just got a new puppy so we will be signing up once again.

I absolutely love all about dogs indoor training facility! It is a very clean and comfortable environment everytime we go into to train. Jenni and sandy have been a wealth of knowledge for helping me get my puppy trained. I have big plans for my dog in performance sports, I feel confident All About Dogs training will get us where we are going! Thanks!

Jenni and Sandy are totally professional in their training. But, also compassionate and caring. They get to know each dog individually and cater the training to the specific dog. They have trained my 2 Rotts, 2 Westies, and now Boykin Spaniel. You will have so much fun with your doggie and with the other students. Campbell and I LOVE going to class. I highly recommend All About Dogs!!

Jenni and Sandy were more than a big help to me getting training for my girl Moxie. We worked with them for about a year doing socialization/obedience and agility classes, which were both amazing classes. They really do know what they are doing when it comes to helping you and your fur baby live a better life together! <3
