This was a great expierence for my dog and me. My dog is a two-year-old german shepherd mix I adopted about a year ago. She had been returned to the shelter twice, but she is a great dog. She has what can only be described as Doggy ADHD, and Noelle was great at teaching her recall and providing me with the tools to keep her on track. Noelle provided lots of videos and pictures of her while she was there for the 5-week board and train, and this is the best investment I could have made for myself and my dog. I would recommend it to anyone! She helped train my dog to come when called, even when my dog gets out of the yard and is very intent on chasing something. Being able to break the prey drive fixation has been so helpful! She trained my family and me on using the e-collar (which has been great). I did not trust her off-leash, even in a fenced-in yard, but she now comes when called, even if off-leash! My dog is a good jumper, so this was the most important thing. Noelle taught her to heel, which was great, and an auto sits when we pause. This has been useful for dog safety when crossing the street or as a general well-trained dog flex. The place has been the second most helpful tool for us; she gets a little over-excited sometimes, so this tool is great for when she wants to jump on people or pets or needs to be out of the way for any reason. We frequently take her to stores and restaurants now, which was something I never thought we could do. I also struggled with potty training as when I got my dog, she was already over a year old and wasn't house-trained. Noelle helped us with this, and my dog has only had one accident since she came home.
