I’m a retired sheriff’s office K9 handler and got my dog from Ricky Farley in 2000. Ricky has been training dogs for decades and is the absolute best in the business. Recently, questions about Ricky’s knowledge and integrity have come into question. Let me assure anyone reading this that those questions have arisen due to a dog owner failing to follow Ricky’s advice. Had Ricky’s advice been followed, a tragic situation would have been avoided. For anybody posting negative reviews, you obviously never worked with or obtained a dog from Ricky. You’re just armchair quarterbacking the situation. Ricky didn’t just wake up after all these years of training and select that one dog to change the way he conducts his business. So if you’ve never worked with Ricky or gotten a dog from him, you need to sit down and shut up and let the involved parties handle the situation. And if you’re in the market for a fully trained dog whether it be as a working dog or simply an obedient family pet, there is nobody better in the country to work with than Ricky Farley and the folks at Alabama K9.

During that time I personally witnessed the passion that Ricky and his staff have for training and caring for every single dog at his establishment.
