We can’t say enough amazing things about Akela K9. Before finding them, we were genuinely on the verge of having to rehome our dog due to serious behavioral issues and aggression. They didn’t just train our dog, they transformed him, and they taught us how to continue the training at home so the results actually last. Last month, webrought my son’s dog, Benny to Akela K9 Services for one month of boarding and training. We were drawn to this place because it was a more personal training service, than others. This service trains, fewer dogs at a time and after a month, we were very pleased with the results. Benny, a nine year-old mini golden doodle, is much better behaved. Tarra and Mike are wonderful trainers who really know what they are doing. I feel that the service they gave us was personable and complete. Tarra even came to our home afterwards for more personal training, as part of the package. I could not be happier with this experience!

We took my 9-year old goldendoodle here for a month long training and the experience was extremely beneficial. Being an older dog it’s tricky breaking old habits but the team at this top notch place broke through and really helped my dog. The very best part was they took the time to show continual training techniques that I will now be able to do with my pup to fine tune what they established. Dogs need constant feedback and learn based off this, so I’m now equipped to help him going forward. I will be forever greatful for this!
