Our dog is as sweet as he is rambunctious. We had struggled with training before coming to Ahimsa and he’s grown so much with the help of the trainers. The trainers are engaging during class, and leave us feeling equipped to practice training at home. I appreciate the adaptability of the training and the accommodations made for each dog. For example, we always get the corner spot because our dog is more easily distracted.

We have learned so much with our pup! I also appreciate that they are flexible with swapping classes; we had to travel for a funeral this week and it gave us immense peace of mind to be able to call and swap our class. Cannot recommend Ahimsa enough for their expertise and care!!

We have taken our small (now 14 week old) puppy here since she was 9 weeks old. She has completed puppy kindergarten, and day training. We have her signed up for some more upcoming classes. She loves it! It's super fun and positive, and a great bonding experience for you and your dog. I love how they specialize in just dog training, and offer classes for all dog types. We have been able to lean on our teachers for outside of class questions about puppies in general, etc. It's given us a lot of confidence, and it feels like they are our puppy "team of experts" to lean on for everything we need. Our puppy is learning so much, and really takes to the positive training style they offer.

I did all the puppy classes with my cavalier 14 years ago. We also took a rescue there for some reactive dog classes ~10 years ago. Now, in 2024, we just got a new puppy and we're back at Ahimsa doing the basic puppy classes and puppy playtime -- it's so great how they mix training the human with training the dog. You'll know what good dog play and how to train your dog so well if you listen to them and they'll help you tailor it to your dog. All the trainers are so nice and really listen. We're excited to keep taking our new corgi puppy back for more classes -- he gets so excited when he sees his trainer.
