Affordable Dog and Puppy Training

We started bodie ( bernese mountain) when a puppy. Unfortunately I had leg injury at time and had to rely on husband who was not into it for some reason. But I learned alot and Lisa told us we needed to get him under control because soon he was going to be large dog. Once my leg was healed I started walking him and yes Lisa was correct ..I'm surprised my shoulder didn't pop out from him pulling. I called Lisa for help and did one on one with her and one of her pups helped as well...by the time session was over I felt like I could handle him much better. We have been walking daily..loose leash ..and he is actually paying attention to me! I recommend Lisa and I have recommend her to others . We will be starting another round of lessons in September and I am looking forward to them.

Waste of time and money. We had two dogs with us, one of them was not neutered yet because he was only 5 months old. The vet had told us to wait until he’s at least a year old. Because of that, the trainer made one of us sit in the car with him for most of the class. She said he was aggressive and that he’d attack the other dogs when that was her first time meeting him and we told her he’s not aggressive towards other dogs or people. It felt like she doesn’t actually know what she’s talking about. And when we tried to tell her something, she doesn’t listen.Like why we didn’t have our puppy neutered yet, even though we told her that he’s only 5 months old. She even had us let our dogs off leash when the yard wasn’t fully closed off and felt very dangerous to do so. Also most of the things taught in the beginners class can be found on YouTube. Maybe the other classes are better but this one was definitely not worth it.

I contacted Lisa about my reactive 3yr old GSD mix. She scheduled me to come out right away. When Skye and I showed up she asked a few questions and then right to work we went. An hour later Skye and I both felt more confident and Skye was walking on a loose leash. The issue is not suddenly cured but I know how to walk my dog and with work I know she will be great. We are going to continue learning with Lisa at her CGC training. I was so happy when I left Lisa's house I was in tears and so very proud of my fur baby. The next day I was so excited to show off what Skye and I learned to my husband that we got up at 6:30 am too take her for a walk. He wasn't happy about the time but it was going to be hot that day and I didn't want to burn her paws on the blacktop. She did fantastic and I was so proud of her. Thank you Lisa I really look forward to continuing on to the CGC training.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Lisa. She understands dogs and dog behavior that had previously been a mystery to me. In just two sessions my 3 year old rescue dog is walking politely on a leash, minding his manners, and using a dog crate. He still has more to learn and I am excited to continue to work with Lisa. She is amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone who truly wants to help their dog be the best they can be!
