Stop searching around and call them, it’ll be the best thing you’ve ever done for your dogs. In the pet industry there are tons of dog lovers but true professionals are in short supply and high demand. Finding Adventure Tails is the best thing I’ve ever done for my dogs. They are the best. My dogs can be a little high strong and need a moderate amount of management, not a job for a neighborhood kid or an inexperienced provider. We use their enrichment services twice a week and will continue to do so until they go out of business or fire me as a client. Rather than a standard walk they get a fantastic mixture of activities in their time with Adventure Tails. They enjoy structured walks, productive playing playtime, exploring new places, and so much more- they truly get an adventure. My dog’s time with them is made so much more valuable because of their handling skills. They are so experienced and they are top notch at what they do. The pups get as much of a mental workout as they do physical and I have the pleasure of coming home after a long day to relax with my pups instead of coming home to two wild dogs. You can’t put a price on that but if you could, it’d be at Adventure Tails. In addition to being an excellent trainer and handler the owner, Miranda, is one of the most transparent and honest business owners I’ve ever met. She truly has the best interest of dogs and owners in mind with all that she does. Her employee, Zaria, is an excellent dog handler and works wonders with my pups. I trust them implicitly to make decisions about what is best for my dogs. We are so thankful for them!

Update 2021: I highly recommend Adventure Tails for any training and enrichment for your dog. Miranda has worked with several of my dogs in the past but about a year ago I got a new puppy, Willie Nelson. Miranda took him on weekly outings for “Puppy Scouts”. During these outings, Willie was able to explore new environments, gain confidence and meet new people and dogs. More recently, we were able to send Willie to Miranda for a board and train to get him trained off-leash and work on his leash reactivity. My main goal with my dog is to be able to walk in the woods with him off-leash and have him under control. Since returning from his board and train, I am confident going out on off-leash walks and walking calmly on leash past other people and dogs. He also came home with lots of new skills in the house. Willie learned how to control his excitement when people come into the house rather than barking and jumping. He also now knows manners when we are eating dinner rather than begging for food from our 1-year-old daughter. Willie is completely transformed from being a rambunctious puppy with little control of his emotions to being able to remain calm and take direction from me. I now feel confident that Willie can go out on group hikes with other dogs while remaining safe and appropriate in his play. 2019: There is no one else I trust more to take care of my dog. Miranda is responsible, knowledgeable and fun! She has watched my old dogs over the years, and now, has taken care of my new puppy. Miranda has great insight when it comes to training and dog behavior and has been extremely helpful when new puppy issues come up. It’s so great that she can take my dog hiking during the week, when I can’t get away. I highly recommend her to anyone who not just wants someone to keep their dogs safe, but to be loved and entertained.
