We cannot say enough good things about Adventure K9, I would give them 10 stars if I could! After trying to train our black lab puppy by ourselves with online training it became clear we were way over our heads! Piper didn’t mind, pulled heavily on the leash, lurched at people, dogs, we were beside ourselves! A friend suggested AK9. We enrolled Piper in the 6 week Master Class and it literally saved us! Piper walks without pulling on the leash, she comes when called, we hike the foothills off leash, she usually doesn’t jump on people or dogs (she has her moments) we can take her anywhere we go stores, outdoor breweries etc! We highly recommend Jennifer, Kenny, Michelle and Julie, the staff was so knowledgeable, kind and patient! Always available to talk with if you have questions, it was worth every penny and a very good investment! Thank you AK9!!!

We are only 3 weeks into the 6 week program with our 4 month old puppy and the improvements to impulse control, recall, boundary recognition and being able to relax/not beg for food while we eat, etc have been incredible to see. I honestly did not think he would make improvements this fast given how young and energetic he is. Kenny is our pups trainer and he has been absolutely fantastic. He communicates with us frequently and coaches us through how to implement what they teach our puppy. He also makes a serious effort to figure out what our priorities and goals are and works to make those happen. It's obvious he is personally invested in having our puppy Hugo learn how to interact with the world in a productive, safe and fun way. Could not be happier with the program and recommend big time! Update: Our dog Hugo completed the 6 week master program and we honestly couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Kenny really invested himself in getting Hugo trained up. We ended the 6 weeks with going to a brewery and having our 6 month old puppy show off everything he learned. He was calm around other dogs and strangers and laid down relaxing while Kenny and I had a beer. He then took me to Ann Morrison park and we had Hugo off leash and we were able to trust him around other dogs as well as recall him without worrying about him getting distracted and running off. I can't recommend AK-9 enough. It's obvious all the trainers care to do a great job and love the dogs. Hugo loves Kenny and his kids and when the bus stops by to pick up Hugo he gets a head to tail bolt of excitement that runs through him. We will be signing him up for social class so he keeps getting a lot of exposure to other dogs while he grows up. I am very grateful to everyone at AK-9. We are able to live a more full life with Hugo knowing that we can trust him out in society and nature.
