What is there to say? Shay and Lindsay really are the best at what they do. Before Advanced K9, we thought we had our 1.5-year-old GSD fairly under control and weren’t entirely sure we needed a board-and-train. Within minutes of starting our initial assessment with Shay, we realized just how wrong we were. What Shay and Lindsay have done with our boy is incredible, but it has been even more awesome (and fun!) to have them train us. We are better dog owners now, our understanding of dogs and their behaviors is entirely different now, and our relationship with our boy is head and shoulders above where it used to be. We constantly have people ask us about his training when we are out and about, and it is truly the best feeling to feel confident in our ability to be his pack leaders. As others have said, this training style is not for everyone – if you’re looking for trainers who walk around with bags of treats, you should look elsewhere. Shay and Lindsay take their jobs seriously. If you do not commit to the training yourself, it will be a waste of your time and money. That said, if you're up for the work, contacting Shay and Lindsay will be one of the best decisions you make when it comes to your life with your dog. We absolutely could not be happier.

Shay and Lindsay are absolute experts at what they do. My Golden Retriever was a stubborn little guy and as a first time dog owner I had no idea what to do. Shay and Lindsay worked with me to understand the psychology behind his actions. My dog now listens to commands, is super calm and is off leash trained. I could not be happier with the results. This program is not for everyone. Shay is very serious about training your dog. You need to be too or it will be a waste of money and time. I was very serious, worked with them closely and now I have a finished product that I only dreamed about months ago. I could not recommend them enough.
