I have worked with Mike with two dogs and have been very satisfied with the dogs and training Mike provides. My second dog was trained to be a service dog. Mike spent a lot of extra time with her to be sure she would be prepared to support me out in public places. I am very pleased with the results and recommend Advanced K9 to everyone!
Mike did an amazing job training my border collie. I would highly recommend him. He was responsive to texts and easy to schedule training with. He took excellent care of my dog while he was training him. I highly recommend him for any type of dog training.
When we did our training with Mike we were informed that we would get 3 additional follow up trainings with the board and train along with "lifetime" phone support. When we did our training with Mike we were informed that we would get 3 additional follow up trainings with the board and train along with "lifetime" phone support. I tried to set up the additional visits with him multiple times and he would always cancel before the visits. The last appointment attempt I made, I texted him before we left to make sure he was still able to meet and he never responded to my texts or multiple calls. He now stopped responding to us in general. He is not a reliable trainer and he did not work on the specific behavioural issues we asked him for help with. Don't waste your money. His training videos and training in general do not teach the dog commands in real life situations with distractions.
Mike transformed our 1 year old lab into a well behaved dog. We are truly amazed at what he accomplished in two weeks! This was the best desicion we made for our dog and our family!
