Tammy at Advanced K-9 is the absolute best. We have taken 2 dogs through her training in the last 3 years. We have tried different training classes and methods over the years, and working with Tammy has been by far our best experience to date. The one-on-one classes are tailored to the issues you are having and working towards the goals you have for your dog. This is not a one size fits all training. Tammy has multiple ways to reach the same outcome, because what might work for one dog, doesn't work for the next. Training the dog is only half the battle. The handler also needs training, your dog follows the commands you give, either consciously or unconsciously. Tammy gives you the training you need to help your dog be the best it can be. Having the opportunity to attend the weekly drop-in group training after graduating from the one on one is also lifesaver. It re-enforces the one-on-one training and gives you the opportunity to work with your dog in a safe environment, so both you and your dog have the confidence out in the “real world”. Going to the weekly class group class also gives you additional opportunity to discuss any “new” issues and get ideas on how to resolve them. Tammy works with all different breeds of dogs with the full range of personalities. She is a miracle worker.
