Advanced Canine

Before training, we had some serious behavior issues with our animal, to the point where he ruined several hundred worth of furniture. After him coming back from training he was like a completely different dog. Our German shepherd was very well behaved and obedient after the training. Advanced Canine does an excellent job for a fraction of the cost of most trainers. If your animal is having behavior issues, I would highly recommend this facility.

Lloyd is awesome, hands down the best dog trainer (whisper! dare I say) out there. We asked around and got lots of opinions, including our vet, dog owner friends, doggie shops, etc. We heard he trained most of Metro PD dogs years back and was doing this now on his own. Most people also heard of him or knew of his stellar reputation. So we brought our 5 month-old Goldendoodle Ryman up for a visit. He let us hang around for an hour or so on a random Saturday while he was working with another couple. He encouraged us to talk to that couple. They had glowing remarks. He is super transparent with his process and results. We really felt great about finding Lloyd. So we scheduled our training around a week long pre-planned vacation my wife and I went on and he boarded and obedience trained Ryman all 7 days. Such a convenience and treat to come home to an obedient, well mannered doodle. Wow. No more puppy biting. No more tug-of-war on the leash. Sits, stays, comes, heels on command. It's amazing. Would absolutely recommend and use his services again with any future dog needs!!

Mr. Lloyd is AMAZING!!!! I called every place in Nashville to find an obedience trainer and was willing to spend much more money than what Mr. Lloyd charges. Mr. Lloyd was the only one who was knowledgeable enough to tell me that my labradoodle needed to wait until at least 5 months old in order for the training to stick. No other place was willing to tell me that. I have paid thousands of dollars for puppies to be trained (mainly labs) in Memphis and those trainers did a great job but Mr. Lloyd exceeded them by leaps and bounds. He takes the time to explain the process and makes sure you understand the method that he uses. My pup, Zoe, came home with a foundation that I am now able to build upon to make her the perfect part of the family. I will be taking our new labradoodle puppy to Mr. Lloyd when she is old enough and will be boarding the pups with him when we are out of town. You do not need to look any further than Advanced Canine for your dog training needs!!!!

Recently Lloyd trained my one year old male German Shepherd. He did an excellent job. My dog is calmer, he now heels, he knows how to stay when we tell him. Lloyd is very knowledgeable about German Shepherds and answered a lot of my questions and gave me a lot of information regarding the breed. He trained one of my previous Shepherds about 20 years ago and I am so glad I remembered how to get in touch with him. I would not have returned to him a second time if he hadn't done such a good job with the first Shepherd. I would recommend Lloyd to anyone who wants a well trained dog.
