We sent our Australian Shepard to Active K9 to work on her reactivity towards both dogs and children. She was there for about 8 weeks and has since shown an astounding amount of progress with her reactivity. We still work with Active K9 on our Aussie's upkeep and could not be more happy or grateful! They are amazing trainers that our family would recommend to anyone! Plus, our dog seemed to really enjoy her time there, which is always a nice bonus!

Missy has done so many amazing changes for my dog and I. Just when I was starting to give up hope we found Missy and she completely changed by dog for the better and gave her so much more confidence which allowed her to act like a dog and go for walks and feel ok with new surroundings when normally she would never be ok with that. Thank you so much for her amazing bond with dogs and allowing my dog zina and I to form a better bond and helped her feel more confident about herself. I would 100% recommend her if you need some guidance and help with your dog!

Missy is tough and effective. We tried so many trainers and no one helped our beloved mini Aussie with his anxiety the way she did (he was very anxious and reactive to our baby). Our dog spent 8 weeks at her house then missy supported us in his transition home. Missy was our family’s *person of the year* for how she helped our family. We’re so glad we found her!

We had an amazing experience working with Missy! Our bernedoodle struggled with impulse control and insecurity issues, and after completing the 6-week board and train program, we saw a huge transformation in her behavior at home. One thing I really appreciated is that we would bring our dog home on the weekend after a private session with Missy to implement what we were taught and if we had any questions, we could call/text at any time for help. K9 stood out to us because it was the only no-shock training program we could find. Instead she used positive training techniques that were both compassionate and tailored to our dog’s needs. Highly, highly recommend!

Huge shout out to Missy at Active K9 training.
Not only did she train our Frenchie Puper, she trained us too.
Her patience, guidance and Understanding Of dog behavior made all the difference.
Piper is more confident and well behaved at 9 months old and continues to grow every day.
