No, pops on collar, either regular collar, slip chain collar, or prong collar depending on dogs need.

No one should use shock collars for obedience and they dont. Trish's methods are very effective if you follow directions, your dog wont even realize its learning!

No. They use choke chains, but are adamant that the chain must be loose. Then correction is a snap & release.

I called to talk about getting training for my two male dogs that got into a small fight over an item. I left a voicemail that briefly described what had happened, but really didn’t give the whole scope of the situation. Without knowing the situation or my dogs or even asking me about it, my phone call was returned with news that there was absolutely nothing I could do and when I tried to further explain my situation I just kept getting interrupted with more explanation that it is only going to get worse and there’s nothing I can do but keep the dogs crated and separated for the rest of their lives. What kind of training facility is this? Their best advice for me right off the bat was to do nothing but live in constant fear and vigilance? There was absolutely no offer as to what might be able to be done for my dogs and me to get to a place where we could live in harmony.

Acoma is an excellent training facility with wonderful staff. I am taking one of my rescues for training classes and we have such a fun time. My mom has even been taking her dogs there to be trained since she was a kid!
