Haywood L. Perry Jr. first opened his doors in May 1985, when he saw the need for top quality training for dogs. Haywood L. Perry Jr., the Director of Academy Dog Training, has extensive dog and people training experience and is ever seeking to expand the scope and quality of services offered at the Academy. All trainers will assist in problem solving, proper nutrition and grooming techniques for your breed of dog, and much more.

Academy Dog Training by Haywood is the best decision I made for my Mali Mix. Haywood knows his stuff and is very good at teaching his clients how to make your dog the best dog they can be. We started with Basic Obedience, which was a great way to build a foundation for my pup. We then continued on with the Off Leash Training Course, which allow my dog and I build a trusting relationship off leash. Then we went through Nose Work Levels 1 and 2, and currently finishing up Level 3 with Courtney, where it allows my pup to work his nose to locate scents in many different environments. Haywood and his son Jason really know what they are doing and have a great team of trainers. I would recommend this business to anyone who has dog and wants to build a relationship with their pup.
