Layla came to Joe with a bite history, severe anxiety, leash reactivity and aggression, resource guarding issues and after 2 1/2 months with Joe she has a new lease on life, essentially a second chance at life. She can go on walks in her neighborhood without lunging and barking at everyone, trips to the vet are less stressful and she is able to be a dog again and not live in constant fight or flight. At just 3 years old she had lots of grays and signs of aging and stress, after gaining some confidence and reducing her anxiety she looks younger and visibly happier. Joe was extremely thorough and took our goals for our dog into consideration and made it reality. He has been extremely responsive to any questions or concerns during and after the training program. It brings a peace of mind knowing that we have another person who cares for our special girl, as before she could not be under the care of anyone besides her immediate owners. Layla clearly loves Joe and was excited to go back for a brief boarding visit after her board and train was completed. Joe genuinely cares about each and every dog he comes into contact with. Although it was hard to send Layla away for a few months, it was the best decision we could have ever made.

Joe came highly recommended by a neighbor whose dog I’d seen walking with no leash in our neighborhood. The owner was so confident in the obedience of her dog I had to ask how she was able get her dog to listen so well. This is where she told me about Joe. I reached out to Joe who came to my house to meet my family and his future student. Joe told me he would need to have my dog, NovaMae, for four week. I told him all I’d done to try and train NovaMae. In the second week Joe called me and told me he had to keep NovaMae for 5 weeks at no additional charge. NovaMae had too much aggression towards other dogs that it took Joe longer to work out of her. Now NovaMae and I can go for walks on a leash and it’s enjoyable. NovaMae listens so well in the house and in the yard! She has really become a part of our family thanks to Joe!

Joe is really a different breed (no pun intended) but he is a straight shooter who genuinely wants to help you and your dog live the best life possible together. He explains everything very thoroughly, is available anytime for questions and is always more than happy to share advice and tips. He had my dog for over a month and wow what a difference! We would recommend Joe to anyone who wants to train their dog! He is a great guy & a great trainer!

We couldn’t be happier with the training our dog Rosy received! The transformation has been amazing! She listens so well off leash, responds to commands consistently, and is such a well behaved, happy puppy. What really stands out is how genuinely passionate Joe is about his work and the dogs he trains. You can tell he truly cares about every dog and treats them like his own. I can’t say enough great things about Joe and his training skills. My pitbull mix , Jax is very high-energy and has struggled with separation anxiety since he was a puppy, so I was honestly nervous about how much progress we could make. But the transformation has been incredible. My dog now listens to commands consistently, even in situations where he used to be completely distracted. We’ve also been able to work up to off-leash training, which I never thought would be possible. The biggest difference, though, has been his separation anxiety, it has improved so much, and he’s much calmer and more confident when I’m not around. Joe was patient, knowledgeable, and really understood my dog’s needs. You can tell he genuinely cares about your dog. I’m beyond grateful for the progress and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for real, lasting results.
