ACA CENTER Dog Training & Boarding

This is THE place to go for dog training! After adopting my 3 month old German Shepherd, I knew getting her trained from the get go was a must. These are the key points that persisted throughout the span of program: - Detailed, well-structured instructions on how to handle my puppy and WHY. Everyone on this center has taken considerable time and effort to thoroughly instruct me on how I should be engaging with my dog and the reasons behind it. - Training is envisioned for long term results! Everything taught in the program has real-world purpose. Cesar made sure that I understood that the commands taught in the program are not random dog tricks but need to be called upon when I actually need my dog to follow through (ex. Heeling in a public space). - Training is tailored to your specific dog. If Cesar noticed I was having trouble with certain commands or my dog had a specific behaviors that needed correction (mine was getting too excited when she saw other dogs), he would take the time to instruct me on how to correct it. Overall I feel like I was the one being trained. Every instructor was able to easily handle my dog with ease as if they had spent a lifetime together. The only changing variable was me and my handling. Understanding that training is a lifetime commitment and how to do it right (as there are many ways to do this wrong) was the most valuable takeaway for me in this program. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had a fantastic experience at Aca Center. Having a puppy at home was quite a challenge until, after a long search, we found this amazing team. We did a puppy program that lasted just two weeks, and the change was incredible. But it wasn't just any puppy program; it was exactly what our dog needed. They not only taught our puppy to control all his energy and impulses, but they also guided us throughout the entire process, giving us a clear understanding of the breed and how to train him. Our dog arrived at school every day with great enthusiasm. They truly have extensive knowledge, and their passion for what they do is evident. We will definitely be back for the next level. So happy with my experience with ACA Center! My 5 month old puppy went through the training handling program and the difference has been night and day. Alexandra and Cesar were both so incredibly helpful in the process not just with my puppy, but with me as well - taking the time to teach me the best ways to be a great handler for my puppy. Alexandra was the primary trainer for my puppy and she was very patient and helpful throughout the program. They both explained everything in great detail, helping me better understand the full process every step of the way.
