Program details
Please note that the evaluation is free of charge for dogs referred through the County program. However, when scheduling your appointment, you will be asked to provide a credit card on file in accordance with our cancellation policy. Your card will only be charged if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. In those cases, a $25 cancellation/rescheduling fee will apply. Other than that, no charges will be made to your card. Please note that all cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted through this same communication channel. Cancellation or rescheduling requests made by phone will not be accepted.

This place and its people are WONDERFUL. We trained our 1-year-old Golden Retriever, "Benito," with them, and it was the best decision we could have made. Thanks to ACÁ CENTER Doral, Alemar, her mom, and all the staff who work with them, we went from Beni chewing up shoes, walls, mattresses, and everything in his path, knocking people over, making it impossible to take him for walks, feeding him without everyone at home becoming completely overwhelmed, and rolling over all the other dogs and children, to being able to enjoy our walks with a focused and well-behaved dog who waits for us to tell him he can eat, does his business in the right places, and is an easy dog to handle. THAT IS PRICELESS. But beyond the exceptional work with the dog, I want to highlight the work they do with the pet owners. The kind, respectful, and professional way they train dog owners is, I think, their biggest plus. Today, everyone at home had a change of heart. Thanks to ACÁ CENTER, we learned that having a dog is a big responsibility, and we must train them, dedicate time to them, and care for them so that everything at home can run smoothly. Alexandra and Cesar are very thorough and detailed when it comes to explaining the reasoning behind the training, and they take you step by step through the whole process. I have seen tremendous improvement in Zelda’s demeanor. Their handling lessons are great and they send you home with clear instructions to continue training. I would come back 100 times.
