Absolute Angel Dog Training, LLC

We completed the Sainthood Program with Laura last weekend and are so pleased. We chose Absolute Angel because it was one on one training in our home for Riley. We liked that idea so much better than a group setting with multiple dogs, or sending her away for 2 weeks to train, and we not be involved. We chose the Sainthood program as it taught the basics, but also expanded training to help with jumping, pulling and lunging, which had made walks difficult. Laura is wonderful. She has a great rapport, tone and demeanor, and we learned in addition to Riley. Hands on training by practicing what she taught each lesson, assured we were all on the same page. Laura was very accommodating if we had questions during the week, which helped us not waste her time by training incorrectly because we weren't giving a signal or command correctly. Prior to training, I could not take Riley for a walk by myself. She would pull and lunge and was so strong I couldn't always hold on and would lose the leash as she broke away from me. Now, with the commands and tools Laura taught both Riley and us, I can walk her on my own. We can walk with other dogs and people around, she no longer jumps and lunges, I am more confident and have more control, and Riley enjoys her walk. The training also helped with impulse control - she no longer jumps up to try and get food from the counter or our plates at the dinner table. She knows the commands, and waits for us to finish - and gets a treat or bite of something special for being patient. It will be an ongoing process of reinforcing what she has learned, but now we have to tools to do that, and Riley has the experience of knowing what is expected of her. I’ve always known Ellie is a good dog but now I have the papers to prove it ;) All joking aside. Laura from Absolute Angel is an excellent resource for the community. Her demeanor and approach to training is compassionate and flexible. She is happy to brainstorm and adjust depending on how the dog performs between sessions. She prepares clients to be active and knowledgeable dog owners. Her lessons are not just about teaching the dog better habits and skills but about teaching the humans to communicate more effectively. I would recommend Laura for people who need help teaching their dog manners both in the home and outside.

I absolutely love Laura! I’ve always been good with dogs, but I’m no where near a trainer- so, when my Great Dane puppy started getting out of hand with pulling on walks around the yard - I knew I had to do something. I wanted to be able to take him out and show off my handsome baby with out him pulling me over or jumping on people when excited. With all this said - Laura met with us and Luke (my pup) and was immediately able to recommend the program she thought would best fit the end results we wanted. She met us at our house weekly and was able to be flexible with our schedule to work with Luke and you can tell how much she loves what she is doing. I knew we made the right choice after just the first session as I was able to walk him in my yard without being pulled over!!! Thank you Laura!

We adopted a six year old Shih Tzu named Stanley who came to us will somewhat severe behavioral issues. We sought Laura's help and enrolled Stanley in Absolute Angel's Good Dog Program. Laura was fantastic. Responsive, knowledgeable, flexible and professional, she listened to our concerns and provided a plan that would enable us to reset some learned bad behaviors. We received so many good resources and created an "Owner's Manual" for our little guy and included notes from our training sessions, which we were conveniently able to do both in person and remotely. We really appreciated her knowledge and guidance. She knows dogs. You would be well served to enlist her services. She can help create stability and harmony in your home and contentment for your fur babies.
