Above the Standard Dog Training

I highly recommend Above the Standard Dog Training! My dog Bullet, previously reactive and lacking confidence, underwent their comprehensive 4-week board and train program. Trainer Jay provided regular updates and videos, ensuring I was kept informed throughout the process. While training my pup they were also training me! They brought out the potential in my dog that I didn't know was there. I'm highly satisfied with the outcome after picking him up he smells absolutely amazing from a fresh groom kudos to Strut Your Paws Grooming. Sent my 9 month old German shepherd mix for 4 weeks of board and train. He lacked focus and motivation to learn, recall was a joke and is too smart for his own good. I was struggling with how to work with him when a friend recommended Above the Standard. After speaking with Emily about what I was looking for, I felt confident their program would be right for my pup. Jedi was paired with trainer Jim, which was a blessing as he was wary of men before going into the program. Throughout the four weeks Jim provided regular updates and videos showing me Jedi’s progress and how he was accomplishing the goals I wanted. I could see Jedi was enjoying learning from Jim and enjoying his time in Florida! When Jedi was ready to come home Jim and I worked together practicing what Jedi learned and how I could continue his program at home. Jedi has been home a little over two weeks now and is doing wonderfully! I still continue to get advice and help from Jim as we navigate “the real world.”I am truly impressed at what my pup has learned and am grateful to Jim and Above the Standard! Highly recommend!

Jason and his team are miracle workers! Diesel can be very stubborn when he wants, but like these amazing trainers said he’s very capable with consistency & they couldn’t have been more accurate. It’s so relieving to not worry about this gentle giant destroying walls, chewing everything in site, or being reckless on walks anymore and we have Above the standard dog training to thank for that! Appreciate all you guys do & hope everyone brings there furry friends to get trained by you guys! 😊🙌🏼

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jim and his team. We were nervous to leave our Dalmatian, Bruno with them for 3 weeks but what an amazing change we saw! Jim was very communicative during that time and sent us pictures and videos of Bruno's training. We never worried about his well being or his care. Bruno came back a changed puppy and we have continued his training at home. Very loving environment for your dog. Highly recommend!
