ABC Obedience Dog Training has been helping you to train your dog for over 30 years in the greater New Haven/Shoreline area. Group classes start with our specialized Puppy Kindergarten Program that is a combination of management, psychology, actual training, obstacles and social play. PK is for puppies age 12 to 18 weeks old . Beginner groups are open to all dogs, regardless of experience, any age. Private sessions available in your home, our facility or out and about in the community. Private sessions are great for that individual attention. Call for more information or visit our website. Our OFFICE hours seem limited, but we are working most days, often returning calls between classes or here teaching. Leave a message anytime.

Thank you so much Robi with all your help with Penelope and her nail clipping fears. I highly recommend Robi to anyone I know who needs a dog trainer. Her classes are entertaining, educational and fun! In private lessons Robi is attentive, patient and always willing to answer all my questions!
Mercy was anxious about getting her first manicure. Robi and her staff were wonderful and Mercy came through with flying colors. We're going back for some obedience work like not pulling me up the street with all of her 27 pounds. So good to find a safe and qualified resource. Thanks, Robi. See ya' soon.
When I first got my new puppy I felt overwhelmed at times but, due to the training Robi has been giving me in puppy classes and at home, I now feel confident with my new pup and am enjoying him so much more. Plus the classes are fun and the other students and their pups are wonderful people! If you have a new pup or a dog that needs training you owe it to yourself to give Robi a call!

Robbie and Jill share their wealth of expertise and experience about what is actually dog owner training in an engaging and light hearted manner. The results speak for themselves. Our dog was timid, often clueless, and inconsistent in her response to simple commands. After going through two 5 week sessions, she is much more confident, eager to play the training games, and much more obedient. We still have work to do on ourselves and on her, but this was a great start that has put us on the right path. Thank you!
