A Touch Of Golden Class

Kathy did so well helping my pup set up for success! I have a chocolate Labrador, Patchi. We were making progress on our own, but I knew we needed professional help. Thats when I found Kathy! We did a board and train with her. Progress isn’t linear, and continuing the training that Kathy started with Patchi is a must. But with her help, and lots of tips and advices, we are able to get Patchi started to become the best dog she can be and is well on her way to become a therapy dog! I never had to worry about Patchi when she was under Kathy’s care because I know she is well-loved in her household.

I have two big dogs who are very high energy and high maintenance and there is nobody in the world I trust more to watch them than Kathy. Also, When I rescued my husky puppy she was unmanageable. She would lunge on leashes, chance after everything she saw, bite, play too rough, and you couldn't touch her to put a leash on or brush her. Kathy was so amazing when working with her and training her but also taught me how to continue her training at home. Kathy always puts the dogs first and it's been priceless to know that when I have to leave my pups somewhere it's with her.

We started looking for a new trainer when our old one just wasn't working out. I came across A Touch of Golden Class and called them. Kathy, took the time and spoke with me answering all of my questions (and I had a lot of them). I liked what I heard so set up a FREE evaluation session. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. Kathy and staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. She went over areas of training we needed to start with and gave us several ideas on how best to accomplish them. She then went over different training package options for us to look over. NOT ONCE WERE WE EVER PRESSURED TO SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING. Well we've been going for a couple of months now and our fur baby has improved drastically. Kathy and the other trainers at the facility are POSITIVE, PATIENT, KIND, KNOWLEDGEABLE, ENTHUSIASTIC AND AMAZING TO WORK WITH. Facility is clean and spacious. I'm so grateful that I found this trainer. I highly recommend them to everyone!!

Kathy is the best! We took our very young Brittany puppy to her for puppy camp. She had been biting us and was a bit out of control. She came back a new dog. No biting and able to do simple commands. She loves going to Kathy's. She has become completely socialized by playing with all of the dogs at Kathy's day care. Kathy continues train her every time we leave her for day care or an overnight. When we drive up to Kathy's she can't wait to get out the car. Kathy is like a dog whisperer. All kindness and great results.
