A Peaceful Pack

We can't say enough good things about A Peaceful Pack's dog training program. From day one, the trainers (Marissa and Andrea) were professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to understand Bogey’s personality and what we wanted out of the training, then tailored the sessions to meet our specific needs. They didn't just train Bogey, they trained us to be his leader. Within just a few weeks, we saw a dramatic improvement in behavior—less pulling on walks, better recall, no jumping on people and a calmer demeanor overall. Kudos to Andrea, Bogey's primary trainer. She quickly gained his trust and you could tell she really loved him. She provided daily updates with videos and pictures. She was so sweet and patient with Bogey. He started the training with high anxiety and almost always drooled and vomited in the car.  After spending time with Andrea, he was so much more confident and really enjoys car rides now. What really stood out was their emphasis on positive reinforcement and clear communication. Not only did Bogey thrive, but we learned so much about how to be more confident and consistent owners. The support didn’t end with the sessions either—they provided helpful resources and are always available to answer questions. If you're looking for results, compassion, and a team that truly cares, this is the place. Highly recommend!

I think anyone who has experienced challenging behaviors with their dog can understand the level of chaos it brings to a home—no matter how much love you have for them. After completing the 4-week board-and-train program with A Peaceful Pack, the transformation we saw in our dog, June, and the sense of calm it restored to our home was incredible. We reached out once we realized many of June’s struggles came from fear and anxiety. Since she was adopted from a shelter, her history is unknown. Before training, we couldn’t safely take her on walks because she would panic and try to run. She barked and growled at guests during their entire visit. At home, she was chewing everything, jumping on us and the kids, and seemed constantly unsettled. Things escalated to resource guarding, and eventually she bit our senior dog. We were desperate for help—we could see the sweet soul she truly was, and we knew how miserable she must have felt living in constant fear. Through this program, June blossomed. She came back more confident, calm, and clearly happier. We can now take her on walks and even to public places. When moments of fear do surface, we have the tools to work through them. At home, she’s more regulated, which has brought peace back to our household. Best of all, the training gave her more freedom—inside and outside the home—allowing her spunky, loving personality to shine through. Our journey with A Peaceful Pack didn’t end after training. We continue to board June with them when we travel, and she attends daycare once a week for socialization and reinforcement. We love that she gets to spend time with her trainer, whom she absolutely adores—and who clearly adores her back. Riding the “doggy bus” to a safe, loving environment surrounded by skilled people has been such a gift. Some of the things we loved most about the program: • Daily updates: We received texts and videos every day showing June’s progress. • Owner training: We had weekly sessions with June and her trainer to learn how to guide her ourselves, along with instructional videos to reinforce what we learned. • The bond: Watching June form such a strong, positive bond with her trainer was one of the most rewarding parts of the process—a true testament to the incredible people at A Peaceful Pack.
