A Pawsitive Experience (Susan Ferry dba)

This is not your average dog daycare/ training business it is so much more! My puppy is enrolled in the paws program and the difference in his behavior and overall spirit was almost immediate.Sue is very talented at what she does and has taught myself and Tahoe so much already.I am very thankful I found this place, Tahoe has been having so much fun playing with all of his new friends along with learning so much from Sue.

I have worked with Susan 10 years ago or so with my first family Aussie Jax for training and boarding. I am now back to continue with her help on finding my own first dog for myself! She has been amazing with helping me narrow down the right breed to fit my lifestyle while also catering to my wants and needs in a dog. She amazes me day after day with all her knowledge and guidance. I highly recommend her if your searching for your new companion.

My 3 year old rescue has been going to Pawsitive for 2 years. Without Susan and her expertise, I would have had to return him to the rescue. His separation anxiety and impulsive behavior were out of control. Scout happily goes to daycare several days a week. Needless to say, he is a completely different dog and a much-loved part of our family. Susan continues to work with Scout and treat him like he is one of her own. She also understands dogs like no other. I highly recommend A Pawsitive Experience. Leia, my 1 year old lab/corgi mix rescue, is now one of Susan’s four- legged clients at Pawsitive. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my fur kids. Leia is typically skittish around new people and unfamiliar places. However, she feels completely comfortable with Susan and the other dogs in residence. Both of my precious dogs stayed with Susan this past week. I enjoyed my vacation, knowing full well that they were cared for like her own.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Susan at A Pawsitive Experience! We have been bringing our puppy Kristoff for the PAWS program and have also used boarding services.Susan not only works with the dogs, but teaches us what we need to work on at home to follow through with training. Our pup is exposed to new people at the door, new dogs and is taught the skills needed to cope with real life situations through the PAWS program. Susan has a few different play areas to accommodate dogs of all ages and sizes. Your dog will be cared for and treated as her own throughout their stay. Five stars from me!

We brought our 3 month old puppy Oakley, to Susan for training and daycare. Susan did a great job of getting Oakley socialized, trained and teaching us how to understand why Oakley responded the way she does and so much more valuable training for both Oakley and us, to make us all a happy family. We have more to learn but I am so happy with the things I learned from Susan at Pawsitve. One of the best parts is that the dogs are in her home so they get the training in a home setting. She understands what the dogs need and which dogs need to be together and which dogs would do better away from each other. I feel her way of training made a difference when we came home eveyday.
