A Pawsitive Experience (Susan Ferry dba)

Susan has helped our family by teaching us how to understand our dogs' needs and behaviors. She quickly identified some areas we, as pet owners, needed to improve and gave us the tools to reinforce the good behavior we wanted to see from the pups. I appreciate her eye for detail and way of breaking down lessons into digestible parts. Our training sessions built up on the successes of previous sessions and the feedback we received was in line with our self reflection; praise for improvements made and tips for shoring up areas of struggle. We have a more peaceful home, with 2 pups and 2 young kids, now that we have the knowledge to set behavioral expectations for the dogs and the confidence to put our training exercises into practice. If you’re looking for a great place for your canine family member I highly recommend Pawsitive. Susan has helped my Chocolate Girl Sophia learn how to overcome her anxiety issues. After only 3 weeks of daycare as well as a few nights of boarding, Sophie has become more confident and less anxious. She loves the other dogs.I feel good about the fact that Susan assesses all the dogs to be sure they are a good fit . When Sophie stayed for boarding she was in a home environment and became one of Susan’s family. I love that Sophie is so happy to go to daycare and that she’s tired from a day of play when she comes home. Pawsitive is not only Susan’s business but also her passion. She truly loves what she does and it shows.
