FirstBarkJake trained our boxer/ridgeback mix after my efforts failed miserably. Our dog is now very well behaved. No more jumping on people and she readily responds to all the commands she needs to be safe on walks in the neighborhood or when strangers come into our yard. We couldn't be happier.

Jake did a great job with our 1 year old Doberman. Our Dobe actually listens to us now which we weren't sure would ever be possible after puppy school with another company. If you hire Jake, LISTEN to him! I can't emphasize enough how important it is to keep working with your dog once they come home. We would certainly work with Jake again in the future.
Couldn’t say better things about A Leg Up K9 Training and Jake. My dog wouldn’t listen to a word I said until I brought him here and now he listens to everything. Brutus is a rescue dog and after the training he is so much more calm and obedient. Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else to be boarded either!!! This training is amazing!!!
Jake trained our very energetic lab, and we only wish we had done it 2 years earlier! I would recommend doing the 3-week boarding/training package when you go on vacation- kill 2 birds with one stone!

He provided us with our own training tools to utilize as well, and taught us how to use them. It feels great to have a such a well behaved dog. All our friends rave about him!
