I recently completed Tyrese's 4-week Advanced Training program with my Yorkie, Teodoro ("Teo"), and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Teo was already a sweet, well-behaved dog with some basic training, but Tyrese helped take him to the next level. The improvement in his focus, responsiveness, and overall manners has been wonderful to see. One thing I especially appreciated was Tyrese's individualized approach. He took the time to understand Teo's personality and address specific behaviors and needs, including guarding and possessiveness around toys. I always felt comfortable asking questions, and Tyrese was patient and thorough in explaining the training process. I also appreciated the hands-on practice sessions with Teo and Tyrese. Being able to work together and learn how to reinforce the training at home made a huge difference and gave me confidence as a dog mom. Another highlight was receiving videos and updates throughout the program. Getting these videos regularly allowed me to see Teo's progress and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Tyrese clearly cares about the dogs he trains and the families who love them. His knowledge, patience, and dedication shine through in his work. We cannot recommend Tyrese at A Howling Good Time Dog Training highly enough! FIVE STARS!! We adopted a rescue dog who is half Great Pyrenees and half Husky—two breeds well known for their intelligence, independence, and reputation for being difficult to train. In fact, another trainer we contacted declined to work with her because of her breed mix. Tyrese, however, welcomed the challenge with confidence, patience, and skill. For one month, three days a week, Tyrese worked with our dog, Margot, and completely transformed her behavior. She is still the smart, independent thinker we love, but she now reliably comes when called (sometimes with side-eye, lol) and stays on command—something we weren't sure would ever be possible. The progress she made is remarkable and her spirit is intact. What impressed us most was Tyrese's training style. He is incredibly kind and gentle with our dog, and she was never fearful or stressed during training. At the same time, he maintains complete control and earns her respect through consistency and clear communication. It is obvious that he truly understands dogs and how to bring out their best. Tyrese also invests heavily in training the owners. He visited our home initially to observe her behavior and provided many instructional videos, of his work with Margot, for us. At pick up time, Tyrese also spends one-on-one time reinforcing the skills we need to continue our dog's success, His commitment to both Margot and the family makes all the difference. If you're looking for a trainer who is patient, knowledgeable, effective, and genuinely cares about your dog's well-being, Tyrese is the person to call. Tyrese worked with our cavapoo starting at 10 weeks old. First off, Tyrese was so easy to work with and very flexible in scheduling the sessions. Secondly, it was clear he was dedicated to his craft and teaching us how to work on training at home. He spent a lot of time teaching us how to best train our puppy to continue the work at home. Our dog loved going over and spending the day with Tyrese. It’s been overwhelmingly a positive experience. Our dog is maturing and has a great foundation that will only improve with time.
