After completing dog obedience with another trainer Onyx still had the tendency to lunge at people and other dogs. The trainer recommended Jackie from a Dog's Life Training and Education. I am so happy I called Jackie. Onyx is like a new dog. Jackie helped us get pass our insecurities which helped tremendously with our day to day life. I would recommend Jackie to anyone in need of quality training. She's the best, thank you so much Jackie and Alois.

I adopted Doris, my boxer, in November of 2023. She was 10 months old and very traumatized at first. Within 3 months, her personality really changed. She is a puppy after all, but I was not prepared. I looked at reviews for trainers and decided on Jackie. I liked the fact that she would come to my house to help me with training Doris. I had an initial evaluation and then set up a schedule. Doris is extremely high energy and after a play session with her in our backyard where she was jumping all over me, attacking my shoes and clothes, I literally called Jackie crying telling her I couldn’t do it. I am 65 years old, and I’ve had both knees and a hip replaced within the last 2 years. She came over within an hour. With that one session, things started looking better, so you can imagine 8 weeks of training. Doris is now a well behaved, polite dog and I owe it all to Jackie.

As a first time dog owner with a high-energy puppy, my wife and I had so much to learn. As embarrassing as it is to admit, we were days away from re-homing our puppy to a good friend of ours. Luckily, we found Jackie. She is kind, knowledgeable, and most of all, very patient. We did 9 private lessons with Jackie over a 2-3 month period, and we starting seeing results after just 2 sessions. What we liked most about Jackie was her method of training. Not only did she help train our puppy, but she taugut us how to be better dog owners. She is well-researched and understands dogs from a psychological perspective. We get countless compliments on our puppy and it’s all because of Jackie. She is a freakin’ lifesaver.

We contacted Jackie after a failed dog training with another trainer. From the moment we met Jackie we right away felt the difference and the passion she had for training dogs. Jackie has opened our eyes to a whole different way of dog training. One thing that I truly loved about Jackie is that she is dedicated to continuing her education. We called Jackie after we had gone to someone else for a puppy training program that didn’t work, and she immediately gave me a time and place to meet her at so we can go over my puppy’s issues/ problems and she immediately guided us to the right program and we decided to do the board and train with her. From the moment we met Jackie we knew she was different and that her knowledge was much more extensive and better than anyone else we had talked to. After the board and train my dog came back better than ever and Jackie has been there for us every step of the way . Jackie taught us and helped us get a whole new understanding of how a dog thinks and why they do what they do, and we can confidently say that we 100% recommend her to anyone looking to train their dogs.
