A Better Canine 4 U

We had a wonderful experience working with Pedro Araujo to train our two 1-year-old Labrador retrievers. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and effective in helping us understand our dogs and set consistent routines. What stood out most was how he included our young boys in the training sessions—he made them feel confident and capable, and they’ve really taken ownership in helping with the dogs’ care and behavior. Since working with Pedro, we’ve seen a significant improvement in our dogs’ manners and overall calmness, which has made our household so much more peaceful and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for his guidance and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive dog behaviorist.

We called Mr. Araujo looking for help with getting our new stray dog to get along with our other four dogs. He came over and after talking to us and meeting our dogs he came up with plan. He taught us after several sessions how to "read" a dogs behavior and how to react. We learned techniques that involved eating, walking, and integrating our dogs behavior. They now all get along. We had recently adopted a stray dog.. we found him running the neighborhood. He was a pit bull.. We already had 4 other dogs and needed help integrating him with our dogs. Mr. Araujo not only showed us the techniques but taught us the correct manner and techniques to do just that. He taught us how to understand dogs and read their demeanor. His patience and understanding of dogs was incredible.. Its been 6 months and we have not had any issues with the dogs.. Our new dog is now one of our pack. My fur baby and I were fortunate to have met Mr. Araujo three years ago. I took his Dog Behavior Class at EPCC three semesters in a row. After that, we still continued learning with Mr. Araujo individually to train for the Canine Good Citizen. The main thing I learned was having to adjust my behavior in order to have better results with my fur baby. A lot of our dogs issues and problems stem from we the pet owners. I am happy to say the training has made a difference in the way I interact with my dog and I can take her everywhere with me. Thank you Mr. Araujo for your expertise!!
