A Bark Idea

We absolutely love the Bark Idea team. They’ve taken amazing care of our sweet Shiba Inu for the past 1.5 years, from when he was a young puppy to now. Our dog absolutely loves going to doggy daycare - he jumps up and down in excitement at the gate during drop off every time. I completely trust them, and they TRULY care about our dog, his health and his development. We regularly use Bark Idea for doggy daycare and have used them for boarding (anywhere from one night to one week). Though there might be cheaper options out there, I view it as a long-term investment in our dog, his socialization and his happiness, and all of that in a safe, positive environment where our dog can learn. They really understand dogs, and take classes to stay current on training techniques, and share their wisdom with their clients. I see them as partners with us in raising our pup to be his best self! We love & thank you, Bark Idea team! :)

We’re so happy we brought our little dachshund to A Bark Idea. Our dog is always so happy to go to her favorite “resort” and play with her friends. She’s a bit older and I always feel confident that Abby will be given a few extra snuggles as well as assistance as needed. The entire team is fabulous, thoughtful, attentive, and always goes out of their way to ensure that every single animal is nurtured.

Cami and Kelsey are phenomenal! We’ve been bringing Foxy, our german shepherd, to A Bark Idea for ~2+ years, mostly for boarding (weekend trips to weeklong vacations) and also occasional daycare. Every time we drop Foxy off, she could not be more thrilled to greet her ladies! After trying several day cares where Foxy would pull away from entering the building, we knew we found something extremely special with A Bark Idea. A Bark Idea creates a safe and welcoming space for all dogs, giving us peace of mind that Foxy is being taken excellent care of (and that she’s having a blast) while we’re away!

I cannot recommend A Bark Idea enough. When you choose a business to help train your puppy, you want to find trainers that will love your pup just as much as you and this is that place. Cami, Kelsey, and Justin have so much love and compassion for these dogs and it shows. Even before my pup started at Happy Puppy School, I had an open line of communication with A Bark Idea while I was crate training, which almost broke me, but they helped me through it and helped me with my confidence that I was doing the right thing and it would get better each day. AND IT DID! I chose to put my puppy in Happy Puppy School and it was so worth it. I chose the 24 lessons package and each day, I received a video message of what they worked on each day so I could practice with my pup. You really have to understand that the work they do with your dog at school, you have to come home and practice with your dog because they need to learn to listen to you too. The socialization that the puppies get at school is so important, not to mention, the amount of energy they expend all day makes it easier at the end of the day for you! Once my dog was done with his training, I purchased the day care package and take him at least once a week. He has the best time and comes home pooped out. A Bark Idea are our family now and I truly feel like it was the best decision for me and my puppy!

We LOVE A Bark Idea. Our dog, Mabel, may like this place more than home! A Bark Idea has provided us with boarding, daycare, and training. The employees are so friendly and we appreciate the daily photos they send of our pup when she's staying there. The time we opted to add some training to her stay, they were extremely detailed and thoughtful. They sent us lots of tips and videos on how to work with our dog. Our pup can also be afraid of people - but not at A Bark Idea! She loves everyone there. So grateful to have a local spot like this to rely on.
