TLDR: We HIGHLY recommend A Bark Away to any dog parents looking to get their dog trained, in addition to boarding and/or pet sitting. We have an anxious pup who has improved greatly through a 3-week Board & Train program with Criselda. 100/10!! We've boarded our pup, Emmet, a few times at A Bark Away for long weekends. Criselda is in constant communication with us the entire time, so we know how he's doing. She lets us know how he's settling in and sends us photos + videos of him playing with the other dogs in her care. She's quick to respond when we have a question, and will give us tips on what we can work on when we pick up Emmet. We've been very happy with her so far and have recommended her to other dog parents for boarding and training. Edit (7.27): Emmet just finished a 3-week board & train program (with e-collar training) at A Bark Away, and we couldn't recommend it more!! Everything I said above still applies--Criselda sent us daily notes and summaries of what Emmet learned and what they worked on, including photos & videos. We knew exactly how he was progressing each day. During our midway session we could already see improvement in his focus and confidence. We appreciated Criselda's patience with an anxious pup like ours. She worked with him for hours each day at all the places that would normally trigger his fear and anxiety (e.g., Home Depot and anywhere with push carts). We can see how much he's improved in such a short time. We're excited to continue the training now that he's back home with us. We're still getting used to the e-collar aspect of his training, but Criselda has been amazing and is available for any follow-up questions we have.
