5 Star Dog Training OKC

I started taking my Black Lab Niko 3 years ago when he was 1 year old. He was un-walkable on a leash. After our FIRST lesson with Lucas, I was able to walk Niko without pulling on his leash AND was able to walk with him OFF leash as well! I also wanted a trainer that would train me on how to train my dog so that I would have that connection with Niko rather than the trainer. 3 years later and Niko is so well trained that I am able to take him EVERYWHERE without having any issues. He is my mobility service dog so it is very important that he looks to me for all of his cues and has his attention focused solely on me. I can’t recommend 5 Star Dog Training enough. It really does work!

Over the years and with various dogs I have had multiple trainers. From Petsmart classes to private trainers. Let me tell you why 5 Star is the best experience so far. We have a large Rottweiler who was trained as a service dog but was still super reactive with any other dog. We 1st saw the trainer, Lucas, with a few people walking their dogs off leash in Scissortail Park in OKC. When I explained my situation he said he could fix everything in 1 lesson. The 1st lesson he stopped have an aggressive reaction to other dogs. Let me tell you what sets this program apart. It's not only that Lucas will come to your house and that he creates a specific training program for your needs. It's not that he always remembers everyone's name. It's not even the way he constantly encourages you as you are training. It's hands down the after training support. He has a class EVER THURSDAY that you will always be able to attend. You will become part of a training family for as long as you want to be. Tonight we played musical chairs and our Rottie was super close to about 15 dogs with 0 reactions. I highly recommend 5 Star & I hope to see you in class soon. Trust me it'll be worth it.

I worked with Lukas and Jaimie at 5 Star Dog Training to train my dog Brownie, and the results have been impressive. Before training, she struggled with consistency—especially in public settings—but they quickly identified the gaps and built a clear, structured plan. What stood out most was their approach: they don’t just train the dog, they train the owner. They explained the “why” behind every correction and behavior, which made it much easier to reinforce everything at home. Within a short time, Brownie became more focused, responsive, and overall much calmer. They’re professional, patient, and genuinely care about long-term results, not quick fixes.
