I adopted a dog that needed some training with pulling on the leash and greeting dogs & people (she loves them & gets super excited). Vicki was a tremendous help! Lady has come a long way! Vicki is very knowledgeable about dog behavior. She was always available for questions/concerns after training sessions.!We had a goal of Lady being able to go into a store and she did it!.Highly recommended her services!

We contacted Vickie for help with Luna. She was a street dog, and when we got her, she spent most of her time shaking from head to toe. She was afraid of everything. We worked with her, by ourselves, for over a year and managed to get her to move around some of the house and walk a bit outside the house. She would still shake uncontrollably when people came into the house. She spent most of her time with her ears back, tail tucked, hiding upstairs, or when downstairs, taking up as little space as possible on a corner of the couch. We were stuck and didn't know what to do. We found Vickie online and called her. Vickie was kind and professional. She started training Luna at our home (as Luna was prettified of the car). She helped us better understand Luna's body language, and responses. She worked with us on a specialized training to help Luna slowly become braver, helping her relax - both in and outside the house. We worked on helping Luna try new things, to sniff, to greet, to be comfortable in and around the car and to recover from scares faster. Vickie was just amazing. She was patient and helpful and answered all of our questions. She worked with us and with Luna to figure out what challenges we were facing and figured out how to break down the issues into solvable pieces. Luna now asks us to play and this past weekend she asked our guests to play with her! Instead of hiding, her world is growing and she makes huge strides each week, that are just shocking to us! She still startles, but recovers so much faster. We know when she's getting nervous and can give her a minute to re-calibrate when needed, meaning Luna is trying more and more things. Vickie also helped us identify a potential inner ear issue that is causing car sickness - despite this we can now take Luna in the car for short trips. Her training really helped with understanding these issues and with talking to the vet! I would highly recommend Vicki. The difference she made for us and little Luna is huge. Below are some photos to help folks see the difference in Luna. The photo of Luna in the woods is one of the first photos taken in November 2021 (notice her ears are back, her tail is tucked). There's a photo of Luna on the couch in December 2022. Her ears are still back and she's all curled up, but she would look at us. The final photo is taken in July 2023, after working with Vickie. You can see the difference. Her eyes are happy, ears forward, tail up! The confidence is so nice to see!!

I can’t say enough good things about this experience. Vicki is truly a professional and not only taught our dog the basics but also helped me to continue the training at home with confidence. I’m also very appreciative of the handouts that she provided. That information answered questions and filled in the voids. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know.
