We decided to try a different training approach since the first one we tried didn’t seem to stick. I did a lot of research on different places and this one stood out. It wasn’t about just training the dogs but training the owners as well. We were required to train with our dogs throughout their stay. Both Scott and Steve were amazing both with our dogs and training us as well. You can tell they care deeply about what they do and treat each dog with the love and respect they deserve. They came highly recommended and am glad I listened. They have been home for less than a week and we have already noticed a big difference.

We can’t say enough good things about 203 K-9! We signed up for the five-lesson package and have completed three lessons so far with our six-month-old mixed-breed puppy. She’s an Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix with Husky and American Pit Bull Terrier—definitely a high-energy super mutt! We’ve been working with Jose, and the progress has honestly been incredible. After just three weeks, it’s like we have a different dog. As everyone says, the training is just as much for the owners as it is for the dog, and Jose has done an amazing job teaching us how to communicate with her and stay consistent. Our biggest goals were improving her leash pulling and recall, and we’ve already seen a huge difference in both. We’ve had lessons both at their facility and at a local park, which has been so helpful for practicing in different environments. Jose is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and gives practical advice that actually works. We’re truly amazed by how far our puppy has come in such a short time and are excited to keep building on what we’ve learned. We would absolutely recommend 203 K-9 to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, effective, and supportive dog trainer!

We had such a great experience with 203K9! Rex completed the 4-week program, and the transformation has been incredible. What stood out to me from the very beginning was how straight they were with us. No overpromising, no “he’ll be a different dog in two weeks.” They told us what the work would look like, what would be realistic, and what would still need managing in a forever home long after the program ended. In a field full of people who will tell a desperate rescuer whatever they want to hear, that honesty was worth everything. Then they did the work. Ace went through board-and-train and came out a dog with structure, boundaries, and a real shot at a family. They didn’t just train him — they built a plan that a future adopter could actually follow, and they made sure the humans around him knew how to hold up their end. That’s the part people miss. Anyone can manage a dog in a controlled facility. Setting a dog up to succeed after he leaves is a different skill entirely. They stayed available. They answered questions. They treated a shelter Husky nobody wanted like he was worth the effort — because he was. Ace is alive because a lot of people refused to give up on him, and 203K9 is a big reason there was something to not give up on.
