Gari is phenomenal! She was able to train my dog to listen and behave without any yelling or hitting or scaring, and my dog kept her fun wacky personality. What is extra special about Gari’s training is you can tell how deeply she cares about what she does and your dog. She takes time to get to know and understand your pet and works with you to help bring out the best in your pet. I hope to work with Gari again in the future. I feel I got more than my moneys worth and I definitely recommend her for anybody looking into training their dog, as she is more than a trainer but a behavior specialist and the difference is very apparent!

It was wonderful working with Gari on Mardy’s training. She was extremely patient with him being that he is blind at only 3 1/2 years. I was able to easily follow through on methods she taught me to have Mardy stay, sit and not bark when someone enters my home. These were the main issues that I wanted her to work on with him.He’s now eating high quality foods and treats and loves them. Thank you so very much for your expertise and advice.

There was an immediate positive change in our dog after just one session with Gari. Now, after 5 sessions, she is a totally different dog. Gari has worked with us on various commands that are helping our dog, who is a rescue and 3 years old, conquer her fears and unacceptable behaviors. Gari doesn't only work with us in the 1 hour sessions, but sends us videos to watch to further reinforce the training methods (even Bailey likes the videos!) Bottom line, she is teaching us to train our dog, rather than just training in 1-hour segments. I would 100% recommend hiring Gari & 180dog!

Gari and her training methods have turned out to be just what my dog needed! Sheba is a Malinois/GSD mix who was so leash reactive that taking her anywhere was a total nightmare. She would lunge, bark, show her teeth, and has even pulled me to the ground when seeing another dog. Gari taught me how to UNDERSTAND Sheba (whose aggression, we realized, was rooted in fear and anxiety) and how to teach her the right behaviors in a fun way. It took time, but I applied Gari's training methods often and in very short doses. I avoided taking Sheba in any public settings, because we know one bad incident can be a big setback in her progress. Instead, I focused on doing very simple exercises with her during short walks around the block. We played enrichment games to build Sheba's confidence, and simple training exercises on the leash with minimal distractions and controlled exposure to her triggers from a distance. It didn't *feel* like we were accomplishing very much, but whatever. I was enjoying spending the time with my dog, and she seemed to enjoy it too - so I just kept it going at our own pace. Then, yesterday I had to take Sheba to the vet (which is inside the pet store) for a checkup, and to my surprise she did not lunge or bark at ANY of the dogs we encountered! Instead, she calmly looked at them, and then looked at ME for praise! All the lessons and tools given to us by Gari had suddenly shown their results, and I could not be happier! Her methods work, but it is up to YOU to apply them. Be patient, stick with it, make it fun, and I promise you will see the results! If it worked for my dog, it can work for anyone's!
